We only use the best ingredients, most of them are organic butters and oils.
As our Lip Balm has no added Preservatives. If you always keep them in cool dry places, they usually can last about one year, or even longer. You can use them until oil smells rancid.
As beeswax, butters will get harder in cold weather, and softer in hot temperature, or even melt in constant hot weather. So don't supperise when the lip balm melt, simply put them back to fridge, they can get firm again.
Go Grainy - This might happened by temperature changed. Because plant-based butter contains several different fatty acid profiles, and they are with different melting points. When these acids are melted and slowly return to a solid state with cooling, they have a tendency to clump together causing small granules.
The Lip Balm is still great and it won't affect the efficiency. If you want them back to smooth, simply put them in a hot place (e.g.in the car at noon), once completely liquified, freeze it for about 20 minutes.
